Bangkok humidity attacks the joints first: silicone goes black, grout goes grey, and mould climbs the wall behind the air-conditioner. These are the cheapest fixes on the site, and the ones that stop a bigger job later.

The RenoRova way
Strip the old silicone
Every bead cut out with a blade and scraper, the joint cleaned of residue and mould, dried and taped.
Reseal
Sanitary anti-mould silicone applied in one continuous bead, tooled smooth, tape pulled while wet for a crisp line.
Clean & seal the grout
Grout deep-cleaned with an alkaline cleaner and brush, rinsed, dried, and a penetrating sealer applied so it stops absorbing water.
Treat the mould
Walls and ceilings washed with a fungicidal solution, scrubbed, rinsed and dried, then an anti-mould treatment applied. Readings and photos in your report.

Reseal and clean, or regrout?+
If the grout is intact but stained, cleaning and sealing brings it back for a third of the price of regrouting. If it is crumbling or missing, it needs cutting out and regrouting. We'll tell you which from a photo.
Will the mould come back?+
Slower, and not if the cause is fixed. Mould near the air-conditioner usually means a blocked drain or a cold spot; we note the cause in the report so it can be fixed rather than just cleaned again.
How long before I can use the shower?+
24 hours for the silicone to cure. The grout sealer needs about 4 hours. We book bathrooms in the morning so the shower is back the next day.
